When working with a client I first make sure to understand their position in the market and their revenue model. This gives me a basis for understanding their customers. In addition, I then conduct more in depth research on both the market and different target groups before setting the base for a concept that solves both user pains and the client's obstacles. The "solution" -the concept- can mean different things, from a marketing campaign or re-branding of their products to a whole new website for the client. Any concept goes through different iterations and is tested by the intended target group before making it's way into the real market. Results are then tracked either through user tests or simply Google Analytics and then reviewed, as Digital design is like painting, but the paint never dries.
